Show Alice Louise Reynolds Club Entertains Mothers At Luncheon Program AVed. Mothers of the Alice Louise Reynolds club members were honored with an afternoon program pro-gram and luncheon at the Arrowhead Arrow-head hotel banquet room last Wednesday. There were 60 attending. at-tending. The program was arranged as a special musicale with the toast to Mothers being given by Mrs. Howard Judd, and the response by her mother, Mrs. Julia Graff. Included In-cluded in the musical program were two vocal trios, "Mother of Mine" and "Farewell" by Alice Cannon, Melba Baker, and Mary Lou Wells; reading "Brothers In Love" Pearl Matheson; zylaphone solos, Aleene Worthen; vocal duets "Will You Remember" and "Every Little Movement" by Roene Bigler and Lawrence Memmet, and encore en-core solos by each; mothers and guests were introduced, during the program interlude. Then followed a tap dance duet, by Ramona Hafen and Evelyn Nelson ; piano solos, Helen Cannon; vocal solo, "Mother's Day", by Viola Wohlgemuth; Wohlge-muth; violin solo, Irene Everett; vocal solo, Noma Andrus, and violin trio, Irene Everett, Alice Thompson and Jane Pace. Mrs. Mae A. Pace was accompanist. Helen C. Cannon, Alice Thomp-stn Thomp-stn and Noma Andrus formally dressed, served the luncheon. |
