Show All Dogs Must Be Tied Up Until Inoculated Fo Rabies Reports Mayor A definite report of "Rabies" has been received by Dr. Alpine McGregor, Mc-Gregor, city health physician, from the laboratories from the head of Attorney Orval Hafen's dog which had been sent in for examination. With this report on hand an order is being issued for all dogs to be tied up at once until they can be inocculated. Any dog caught running loose will be shot at once, states D. C. Watson, mayor of St. George city. Whether other dogs or animals have become infected is not known at this time, but every precaution should be taken, declares de-clares Mayor Watson, to see that animals are kept under strict supervision until they can be inoculated. A vetenarian will be here Saturday at the City Ball Park to take care of this. If any animal shows any auspicious actions owners are irged to immediately call the City Marshall so that a check can oe made. Anyone having been bitten by i dog since the first of the year is urged to immediately contact lis physicial for treatment. At he present time health officials "oint out there is no telling how many animals or persons may have been infected. People throughout the county are urged to take similar pre-I pre-I cautions since there is no way of j telling how widespread the ' trouble may be. i |
