Show , NOTICE TO WATER USERS Office of State Engineer Salt Lake City, Utah, April 17, 1940. St. George and Washington Canal Company and Brigham Carpenter, Car-penter, St. George, Utah, have filed Application No. a-1520 to change the point of diversion and place of use of .44 sec. ft. of water from Virgin river in Washington Wash-ington county; said water has heretofore been diverted In accordance ac-cordance with award No. 160 of the Virgin River decree entered December 12, 1925, in the district court of Washington county into the Gaytes ditch at a point N. 2 deg. 49 min. E. 3686 ft. from the S'A Cor. Sec. 36, T. 41 S., R. 14 W., SLB&M, and used during the entire year to irrigate 24 acres of land embraced in said Sec. 36. It is now proposed to divert the water into the St. George and IIU.IIHIIglUII .UllUt C I. U puillk fcj. 1150 ft. and E. 350 ft. from the W'i Cor. Sec. 21, T. 42 S., R. 14 W., SLB&M, and use it as a supplemental sup-plemental supply to irrigate 2,000 acres of land located in T. 42 S., R. 15 W., T. 43 S., R. 15 W. and T. 43 S., R. 14 W., more specifically specifi-cally described in the Application on file in the State Engineer's office. Protests resisting the granting of said Application, with reasons therefor, made in affidavit form, must be filed with T. H. Humpherys, State Engineer, 403 State Capitol, Salt Lake City, Utah, with one extra copy and $1.00 filing fee on or before June 22, 1940. T. H. HUMPHERYS, State Engineer.
