Show Miss Ada Hafen and McKay Neilson Marry Friday At St. George L. D. S. Temple Miss Ada Hafen, daughter of Mr and Mrs. A. K. Hafen of this city became the bride of McKay Neilson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Israel Neilson Jr. of Washington in a ceremony at the St. George Temple at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16. Pres. Harold S. Snow read the ceremony which was attended by many relatives of both bride and groom. Friends met the couple as they left the. Temple, showering them with the customary rice and good wishes. Following the ceremony the family and friends held an informal infor-mal reception at the Hafen home, provided by the bride's parents. .For this event the bride wore her wedding gown, a princess model in white satin with lace insert trim and full circular train. Her corsage was carnations and rose buds. She was attended, for this affair, af-fair, by four of her intimate friends, Naomi Fordham, Mrs. Fenton Gray of Cedar City, Elaine Hafen and Fawn Schmutz. At the conclusion of the party the couple left ' for their honeymoon honey-moon which will take them through Yellowstone National Park and down .the coast to the San Francisco Fair The bride's going away outfit was a black ensemble with black and white accessories. |
