Show Rotarians and Wives Hold Annual Meet At Harmony Forty-five chickens, 21 dozen ears of com, 20 pies and other things in proportion was the style set by New Harmony Saturday night when they staged one of their famous Chicken and Com suppers for the Rotary clubs of St. George and Cedar City. Ninety Rotarians, Rotary Anns and guests were present. Musical numbers were presented present-ed by entertainers from Zion National Park during the meal and at New Harmony. Short talks were given by Kumen Jones, president of the Cedar City club and Glenn E. Snow, vice-president of the St. George club, who represented the club in the absence ab-sence of Pres. Orval Hafen. The presidents were introduced by Perry Egan. A solo was sung by D. M. Snow, accompanied by Mrs. Earl J. Bleak. The party is one of four annual events to be participated in by the two clubs in the interest of club fellowship and developing friendship and understanding between be-tween the two cities. |
