Show Cane Beds, Ariz. Mrs. Jos. T. Wilkinson Reporter After having spent a pleasant two weeks at the ranch of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Perkins of Cane Beds, Mrs. Martin Christiansen and her daughter, Marian, left Saturday for their home in Palo Alto, Calif. Traveling with them was Mrs. Hilda Hughes and her daughter, Eleanor, who have also been visiting visit-ing the Perkins'. It seems that the beauty of Arizona and the hospitality of the Perkins' has a lure for these California people as this is the third visit of the Hughes' and the second of the Christiansens. During their sojourn at Cane Beds, the visitors enjoyed celebrating cele-brating the birthday of Miss Dica Perkins at two parties: one, an informal supper and party was 1 given at the home of Sid Potter : and the other, an outdoor dinner party given by Mrs. Francis Hin-ton, Hin-ton, sister of Miss Perkins. Among the many other activities activi-ties enjoyed by the visitors waj a two-day stay at the Grand Canyon. Miss Dica Perkins acconv panied them, showing them the different points of scenic beauty and introducing them to her many friends. |
