Show Hew Harmony .Mrs. O. Hammond licjwirter On Tue.vJay the B.P.W. club of St. George had their annual chicken and corn roast at the Henry A. Pace farm. Saturday the Rotarians from Cedar City and St. George met here for a banquet, the proceeds going toward a new church building. build-ing. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Taylor and family of Cedar City were here Sunday visiting relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Truman, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Webb and family, and Mrs. Annette Pearce were guests Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. O. Hammond. Lola ' Prince and Norma Cox went to New Castle Monday evening eve-ning for a melon supper. They were guests of Chester Knell. Mr. and Mrs. Horace Hall returned re-turned Monday to their, home at Cedar City after spending a week visiting with Mrs. Hall's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo Prince. A number of our townspeople attended conference at Cedar City on Sunday. Parowan stake missionaries were here Wednesday evening and held a cottage meeting at the Hammond home. An illustrated lecture was given on the subject "King of Kings" with Carlisle Esplin as the speaker. A bible reading, "Leah" was given by Mrs. O. Hammond. |
