Show Mathis To Attend Credit Association Meet W. B. Mathis, prominent cattleman cattle-man of this district and a director of the Utah Livestock Production Credit Association, leaves next week for Salt Lake City to attend the annual regional conference of the statewide group of production credit associations' boards of directors and secretary-treasurers of Utah, Nevada, Arizona and California. Credit needs of the livestock industry and current financial problems as related to production credit will be considered and the round table discussions will deal with these problems as well as with the outlook for the future. The conference will be in session ses-sion Thursday and Friday, Aug. 29 and 30 and will be attended by officials and representatives from the Farm Credit Administration Administra-tion of Berkeley. Other associations associa-tions meeting with the Utah group are Arizona Livestock, Nevada Livestock; Utah Farm, California Livestock, and Lassen Production Credit Associations. Directors of the Utah Livestock association who are accompanying Mr. Mathis to Salt Lake City are: S. M. Jorgensen, president, Salina; Merle G. Myer, Lewiston; D. H. Adams, Layton. M. A. Smith, another an-other director, resides in Salt Lake City as does Arthur Smith, secretary-treasurer. |
