Show Washington Mrs. Lenzy Hoopes Reporter Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Larson motored to Cedar City Tuesday on business. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Holt, who have resided here for ' the past year, moved to St. George last week end. Phoebe Hannig, who has spent the summer at Kaibab, returned home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Killam of Islen, Nev., Mr. and Mrs. John Killam of Cedar City were visitors at the Lenzy Hoopes home on Sunday. Heber C. Atkin arrived home Friday after spending a week in Cedar City with his son, Owen Atkin, and family. Mrs. James HalT spent Tuesday in St. George on business. Christian Connell and Denzel Sproul left Monday for Pioche, Nev. to seek employment. Shirley Thomas of Beaver, who has spent the T5ast month with her sister, Mrs. Lenzy Hoopes, returned re-turned home Sunday. Colleen Pectol of Cedar City is here visiting with her relatives. Bee Hive Girls The St. George Bee Hive girls announce that a Story Festival their special Silver Jubilee feature fea-ture for the month of August, is being presented to the public on the St. George Temple grounds on August 26. This affair, which will be held at 6 o'clock p.m., is mainly for children of primary age, but all those interested in stories are invited to attend. The special features of this festival are as follows: Pioneer story by West ward Bee Hive girls; Indian story by south ward Bee Hive girls; two retold stories, a drama entiled, "Pandora", and a puppet show by the east ward Bee Hive girls. The center ward will assist with the puppet show. There is no admission fee for this festival. |
