Show j Naples B Jo Openshaw I Phone 789-3157 Fund raising projects set for Saturday The Naples First Ward Boy Scouts are having a movie Saturday afternoon in the Naples Cultural Hall and a bake and rummage sale from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Butch Grammer home. This is to raise funds to go to the National Scout Jamboree in Virginia next summer. sum-mer. David and Nikki Kay have moved into in-to Naples First Ward. Kenneth Cobbs visited over the weekend with his parents the Carl Cobbs. He attends college at the Weber State College in Ogden. Going to the circus Saturday were Charles and Hazel Olsen, Dan Olsen and sons, and Wade and Ronda Olsen and son. Brenda Olsen accompanied her father Kedric Caldwell to Provo Saturday Satur-day to visit the Kimo Poais and see their new son. Mrs. Caldwell who has been helping at the Poais the past week returned with them Sunday. Glen and Toni Reynolds and son, Fred accompanied by JoAnn Novinger and children attended the circus in Salt Lake City Saturday. Pam Sutton had surgery last Thursday Thurs-day and is in the Uintah County Hospital. Ray and Marial Nash went to Salt Lake City Saturday. Randy and Verda Wilkinson are moving mov-ing from Arkansas to Yakima, Wash. They left their children here with their grandparents, Heber and Vera Harrison Har-rison while they went to Washington to find a house. Mrs. Wilkinson returned to Vernal via air to visit with her parents before taking the children to their new home. Wade and Ronda Olsen entertained at a barbecue dinner in honor of their mother Hazel Olsens birthday, Sept. 25. Present were Charles and Hazel Olsen, Dan and Brenda Olsen and sons and the Wade Olsens. Angela Pack and daughters accompanied accom-panied by Gail Bentley and sons went to Price Thursday alternoon to visit their parents Merrill and Jeri Morrell and their brother Mike Morrell. They returned Friday evening. Shelda Dolan and daughter of Fruita, Colo., visited Frank and JoAnn Novinger Nov-inger and children last Monday. ; . Cliff and Pam Whitmireand Tom and . Marlene Willhelm have moved into Naples Second Ward. Rae Rasmussen took Susan Merrell and children who had been visiting her parents the Garth Rasmussens and Lorin Merrells to Fielding, to visit Mrs. Rasmussen's mother. Brent Merrell came to Fielding, and took his wife and family to their home in Rexburg, Idaho. Robert and Barbara Madsen and son of Provo, visited their parents Duane and Vadrus Wall and family over the weekend. Melvin and Jean Larsen of Salt Lake City visited friends and neighbors in Naples Saturday and Sunday. The Larsens are former members of Naples First Ward. Rae Rasmussen went to Salt Lake City Ci-ty Saturday to a children's literature workshop. Glen Page has been a patient in Uintah Uin-tah County Hospital. Robert and Linda Goodrich and children of Missouri have visited their parents Lowe and Rhea Goodrich and family the past week. Melvin Gardiner is in the Uintah County Hospital following surgery. Robert and Teresa Kay and son Kolby, went to Salt Lake City to the circus cir-cus Saturday. Their daughter, Linzi Lee, stayed with her grandparents the Lawrence Kays. Carl Oldaker went to Salt Lake City Monday on business. Ross and Nelma Merrell, Marj and Craig Martin, Dennis J. and Sherrie Atkinson and Norman and Donna Merrell Mer-rell went to Salt Lake City with Rick and Debbie Foster and daughter. The Dennis J. Atkinsons went to Salt Lake Thursday where Sherrie and Troy received medical attention. They also visited at the home of Mrs. Atkinson's mother, Amy Pringle. They returned Sunday. Robert Kay was in Green River, Utah, for a few days last week on business. Eric Kay. son of Butch and Billie Kay, was injured when he fell from the back of a pickup truck. He was a patient in the Uintah County Hospital. He received a concussion, cuts and bruises. He is recovering at home. Visiting Dell and Hazel Goodrich last week were Grant and LaVar Anderson of Chandler, Ariz., on Tuesday Tues-day and Nile and LaDonna Merkley of Benghazi, Libya on Thursday. |
