Show August traffic volume Traffic volumes at recording stations in the state increased 0.6 percent during August and decreased 1.5 percent for the first eight months compared to last year, according to the August Utah Department of Transportation Tran-sportation Traffic Bulletin. Traffic volume on 1-80 at Parleys Canyon increased 25.2 percent during August and 6.3 percent for the first eight months compared to last year. U.S. Highway 40 at Daniels Canyon increased 3.8 percent in August and 4.4 percent for the eight month period. In the Uintah Basin area traffic on U-87 U-87 north of Duchesne increased 5.2 percent for August and 8.6 percent for the eight month period. U.S. 40 west of Roosevelt increased 4 percent during August and 0.7 percent for the eight month period. Highway U-44 north of Vernal recorded a decrease in traffic of 1.2 percent for August and an increase of 1 percent of the eight month period. U.S. 40 east of Jensen increased 8.3 percent for the month and 7.5 percent for the eight month period, according to the August traffic bulletin. |
