Sir. at elementary schools: tent By Eleanor Rust The teachers and students at Ashley Elementary were given a special program on Dental Health this past week by Cal Cazier from the Dental Health Section of the State Department of Health in Salt Lake City. A film featuring Snoopy and his friends demonstrated how we should brush our teeth properly. Cazier also told stories about Mr. Tooth Decay and showed test tubes filled with sugar which showed the amount of sugar contained in many foods we consume each day. He brought out the fact that we do not cut out sugar entirely, but we should not eat it so frequently each day, because the sugar creates acid in the mouth that attacks the teeth and causes .decay.
