Show Attorney fees, water bill on city agenda A three-hour meeting, scheduled for the Vernal City Council, will determine a salary for the city attorney, the intent of a Robinwood Lane sewer improvement im-provement district, and the Gaylon Cook delinquent water bill. Presently City ' Attorney Richard Davidson has been employed by the city on an hourly basis with his hours reported monthly to the council. Because of an increasing attorney's fee to the city, Councilman Karl Migliori made a motion a month ago to retain the attorney on a $3,000 monthly fee plus benefits. The council made no action on Migliori's motion, but are considering a similar motion Wednesday. Wed-nesday. The council will also give a notice of the intent of a sewer improvement district in the Robinwood Lake area to help finance the costs of connecting onto the sewer system going in on the lane. Since December ol 1979 it was agreed that Naples resident, Gaylon Cook, would pay only hall of his water bill to the city because of a suit in which he says the city is unjust to charge outside areas double the water rate of those in the city. The city agreed to a time period in which Cook would deposit half his water bill in a special account. The time agreed upon has expired and the city will consider the Cook arrangement at the meeting. Other items on the agenda are the presentation of a tentative budget, Central Utah Water District, meeting report, and Uintah Engineering's old bill to the city for past work. j. i . I: .. .
