Show Order Tree Seedlings Now For Spring Planting Spring is just around the corner but the time to order trees for that spring planting is right now! Shrubs, deciduous trees, and evergreens are all available from the State Forestry Nursery. 19 different species in all, each is best suited for a particular growing site, or useful for a specific purpose. Wet sites, dry sites, sandy soil, alkaline alka-line soil or clay -- one or more of the trees are best suited for any of these sites. Trees may be used for windbreaks, shelterbelts, erosion control, wildlife habitat, reforestation or even Christmas trees. However, How-ever, the trees cannot be used for ornamentals. The trees will be sold only in multiples of 50 for each species ordered and the minimum acceptable accept-able order is 100 trees. Some of the available species spe-cies are: black locust, golden willow, ash, poplar, pop-lar, waslern red cedar, ponderosa pine, and Douglas Dou-glas 1 1 1 . Order forms and a complete listing of species spe-cies available may be obtained ob-tained from the local SCS offices, county agents or extension offices or by writing Ire Stale Forest -ry, Bov 32, Moab, Utah 81532.
