Education announces i their office has been noti-i noti-i fied that the Utah State I University Education Po-; Po-; licy Committee recently approved granting up to 15 hours of college credit to veterans with more than one year of military service. Previously veterans could receive a maximum of six credits for military mili-tary service. Three of the total number of credits cre-dits granted can now be applied toward satisfying the Utah State University General Education Requirement. Re-quirement. Any "GI" student who has not yet received academic aca-demic credit for military service should bring a copy of the DD-214 (separation (sepa-ration paper) to the Southeastern Utah Center for Continuing Education to arrange for the appropriate appro-priate number of hours. Any "GI" who has received re-ceived the previous six credit hour maximum and wants to apply for additional addi-tional credit (up to fifteen hours) can pick up an Academic Adjustment Form at the Southeastern Center which will be submitted sub-mitted to the Utah State University Dean of Admissions. |
