Show UEA Asks Increase in Salary Levels The Utah Education Association Department of Higher Education Friday Fri-day took a stand for "at least a cost of living and other normal merit and professional development develop-ment increases," DHE President Robert Perry said. President Perry was responding to a motion by the group's Executive Council at its monthly meeting at the UEA Offices Of-fices Thursday night. The proposal asks ". . . that a cost of living clause be incorporated into the budget allocation which will allow each faculty member to maintain his current purchasing power. pow-er.
