Virgil Allen returned to Nevada this week after visiting here and collecting collect-ing his mining equipment from the Rainy Day properties. pro-perties. Virgil is mining gold and silver near To-napah. To-napah. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Ekker Ek-ker and children are spending the holiday weekend here with the Horace Ekkers from their borne in Payson. Roy is a diesel mechanics instructor in-structor at the Point of the Mountain. Donna Holt was released releas-ed from the Moab hospital following a flu seige and pneumonia. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wan Holt. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ekker are in Salt Lake this week for medical checkups and a visit with the Mavor Gatehouse family. fa-mily. Elder James Jackson, son of Bernes and Nona Bee Jackson, returned from his Danish mission and was guest speaker in sacrament meeting Sunday. His father is the former Bishop here and are now residents of Salt Lake. A younger brother, Neal, has received his call to serve in the Argentina Ar-gentina mission and will leave early in the spring. Mrs. June Young, Green River, and son, Eddie Young and two children from Colorado, stopped and visited friends en-route en-route to Lake Powell for a weekend of fishing. Kevin Hatch and Kerry Bruce Ekker spent the weekend in Provo visiting visit-ing college friends. |
