Show City Court News. . . Judge Don Crist ruled on a number of cases while presiding in City Court during the past week. Thursday Feb. 13, Leslie Les-lie H. Woodward appeared appear-ed before Judge Crist on a charge of driving while intoxicated at which time he entered a plea of guilty guil-ty to the charge. He was sentenced to pay a fine in the amount of $200 and serve 40 days in jail, with the jail sentence suspended suspend-ed upon completion of probation which he must comply with for the per-" per-" iod of one year. A trial had been scheduled sche-duled for Nicholas S. Lat-ka Lat-ka and Ken Iwamasa for Feb. 14 when they were to appear on the charge of posessing a controlled substance. Upon failure to appear, their bail of $200 was forfeited. A preliminary hearing was held Feb. 14 when the I case of the State of Utah ' vs. Hugh Warden was 1 heard. Warden had been 1 charged with issuing a series of bad checks, t however the charge was dismissed at the hearing. Chris Ernest Hibl ap-J ap-J peared before the court ; Feb. 18 on the charge of ' illegal posession of an ; alcoholic beverage. He entered a plea of guilty and was sentenced to pay a fine in the amount of $35. |
