The Bureau of Land Management is drafting guidelines for management manage-ment of natural resource land in the northern portion por-tion of Grand County. A public meeting where management ma-nagement alternatives will be presented is to be held March 13 at the Moab City Council chambers. cham-bers. The meeting will begin promptly at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend this meeting to express ex-press views concerning management of the geographic geo-graphic area termed by BLM as the Book Mountain Moun-tain Planning Unit. This unit is bounded on the south by 1-70 from Green River east to Cisco Wash and by the Colorado River Ri-ver from Cisco Wash to the Utah-Colorado state line; on the east by the state line; on the north by the Uintah -Ouray Indian In-dian Reservation and the summit of the Book Cliffs and on the west by the Green River. Resource information and alternatives for management ma-nagement are being developed de-veloped by the BLM. Management Ma-nagement recommendations recommenda-tions and alternatives will involve minerals, recreation, recre-ation, livestock forage, wildlife, timber, land and watershed resources. A brochure will be prepared pre-pared which will provide more details concerning the recommendations. This brochure will be available a bout a week prior to the meeting date.
