Both were presented with 100 attendance at-tendance pins by Lions District Governor Lloyd Winward of Vernal and with Quebec, Canada District pins by Vice President Coffin. Moab Leos lead the Parade of Governors and Distinguished Guests into the Terrace Ballroom for the final banquet Saturday evening. even-ing. During the opening ceremonies, Debbi e Mabery lead the Pledge of Allegiance for the 1,500 plus Lions and Ladies La-dies assembled. A table had been reserved for Moab Lions which included in-cluded Mr. and Mrs. Mabery. During the closing ceremonies Bob Stephen, ReNann Archer and Roger Stow presented pres-ented the International Vice President with the Canadian flag and a Moab Leo Club emblem. , "The Moab Lions Club is proud of our Leo Club program and of the youngsters that makeup its membership,''' Mr. Mabery said. The convention con-vention delegates and the Club's newest mem ber, Alan Martineau, were honored guests at the Lions annual Valentine Val-entine Party at the Ram-ada Ram-ada Inn, Monday evening even-ing where they were treated to a turkey dinner. din-ner. Their Advisor, Rodney Phillips, presented pres-ented awards in recognition recog-nition of extra efforts by several members during their Christmas Tree and snow shoveling shovel-ing projects. Proceeds from these projects will make considerable contributions con-tributions to the March of Dimes program and the local Heart Monitor Monit-or Fund. "Yes, we enjoyed a very busy, but impressive impres-sive two-day convention in Salt Lake City. We regret that our Leo Advisor Ad-visor Rodney Phillips could not have been with us. It is also regret-able regret-able that the parents of these youngsters could not have witnessed their dedication and sincerity. sincer-ity.
