Show Green River School Hews Mr. Bill Bacon's Speech and Drama class will present two plays, one a satire on wealth and one a comedy, in the school gym at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday Nov. 17. There will be a charge of 50c and $1.00 and the public is invited to attend. A Matinee performance perform-ance will be given for the Elementary Students in the afternoon. A special program of patriotic pa-triotic music will be presented by the GRHS Band in a concert open to the public at 2 p.m. in the gym on Friday, Nov. 12. Mr. Mel Salter, Music Director Direct-or at GRHS, will be conducting. conduct-ing. Ballet West, originally scheduled to present their program at 9:15 a.m., will instead be seen at l';10 p.m. on Nov. 15 in the school gym. Girls Volleyball will be played this week at Monticello High School at 7 p.m. on Nov. 11. This will be the last road game for the team. On the 18th, East Carbon will travel here, and on the 23rd, Duchesne and Altamont will both be on the GRHS floor. The Pirates were handed their first defeat of the year at Altamont last week, and will be facing the Longhorns with a home-court advantage on Nov. 23. Freshmen class members are canvassing the town for $1.00 donations per ticket on a Surveyor 23 Channel CB radio.
