Show ilk New girls invested into Brownie Troop 570, leader Sharon McMullin, were Kim Barney, Mandy McElhaney and Vickie Voss. This troop had an extra meeting Halloween Hallow-een week and were treated to a costume party complete with refreshments by the Junior girls in Julie Walton's Troop 285. The Junior girls put on a skit for the Brownies on Minding Your Manners. Girl Scouts ushering for the Southeastern Fine Arts Guild and the Dixie College play "Flowers for Algernon" were Junior Tammy Daniels, Ca-dette Ca-dette Carol Crossland and Senior Cindy Marshall. Girls not previously mentioned men-tioned who will be traveling to Salt Lake this weekend for a Girl Scout Convention are Seniors Lori McCurdy, Penny Martin, Beverly and Marilyn Shelton, Cindy Marshall and Cadette Carol Crossland. Girl Scout Fund Drive Chairmen Trish Posey and Edna Powell would like to thank the following mothers who so generously gave of their time in the recent fund drive: Mrs. Paddock, Mrs. , Carter, Mrs. Pattison for Troop 666, Mrs. Johnson for Troop 285, Mrs. Mackelprang, j Mrs. Westover, Mrs. Wright for Troop 329, Mrs. Cane and Mrs. Corn for Troop 269, Mrs. McMullin for Troop 570 and Mrs. Wimmer for Troop 110. (Sorry, I wasn't given first names on that list.) We are just finishing up a very success ful fund drive in our area and would like to thank everyone who is making it possible for Girl Scouts to GO in Moab. Anyone not contacted wishing to make a donation may mail it to Edna Powell, Box 885, Moab. Leaders, please pick up Girl Scout Calendars from Robin after the 15th. Troops will be selling calendars to friends and relatives. Profit from calendars goes to troops for use and some to the neighborhood. neighbor-hood. II |
