Show I Charges Brought In Robbery Case Second-degree felony charges char-ges of attempted armed robbery rob-bery have been brought against ag-ainst Mitch Milillio, 23, in connection con-nection with a robbery attempt at Circle K Grocery in the early morning hours Saturday, nJj Two young clerks at th, 1 store said he came in and J, them he was going to them. They said they arg, with him and he pulled a knifc ' threatening to cut their throat and ordering them to open tu' cash drawer. h(! The clerks told police thevl again refused, and he ordered ' them into a back room and tried to open the cash drawer himself. Unable to do so, the said he again threatened'them I with the knife, but finally gav j up and tried to smooth the threats over, made a purchase and left the store. I The clerks notified police o( I the attempted armed robbery at about 6:45 a.m. That evening Milillio return, ed to the. Circle K with' companions, but remained y the car while they went into the store. He was observed by clerks who called the poiid, and gave the car's license number. The car was subsequently stopped across town and Officer Jim Nyland arrested Milillio. He appeared in City Court for arraignment Nov. 8 and was given time to consult counsel. His arraignment was continued to Nov. 12 and bond was set at $5,000. Milillio is currently in the Grand County Jail. |
