Show City Court news ... Appearing in City Court on May 4 was Jerry R. Rookstool, who was charged charg-ed with driving under the influence of intoxicating ' liqour (DUI). He entered a plea of guilty and was sentenced to pay a $250 fine. Bail in like amount was ordered forfeited. Since the defendant was not a local resident, no probation was imposed. The same day a trail was held in State vs. Lonnie Morgan Bohan-non, Bohan-non, who had been charged charg-ed with reckless driving, no driver's license and improper registration. On motion of County Attorney Bill Benge, the second and third charges were dismissed. On the basis of evidence presented, the defendant was found innocent in-nocent of the reckless driving charge, and bail of $80 was refunded. On May 8 Jerry Bob Billingum was arraigned on a charge of DUI. He pled guilty and was sentericed to pay a $250 fine and serve 50 days in jail. The jail sentence was suspended on payment of the fine and satisfactory completion of 1 year probation. Bruce B. Lee was also arraigned May 8 on a DUI charge. He entered a guilty plea, was sentenced to pay a $250 fine and serve 40 days in jail, with the jail sentence suspended suspend-ed on satisfactory completion comple-tion of 1 year probation. J. G. Olsen appeared on a DUI charge with an accident involved. He entered a guilty plea and was sentenced to pay a $299 fine and serve 60 days in jail, with the jail sentence suspended on payment of the fine. |
