Show Arthritis Foundation reorganized Salt Lake City attorney Scott Clark is the new president of the Utah Arthritis Foundation. He was elected to that post Saturday at the UAF annual an-nual meeting. Mr. Clark is a 1970 graduate of the University of Utah. He also attended the University of Chicago where he received his J.D. (Doctor of Law) in 1973. Clark is presently with the Ray, Quinney, and Neb-eker Neb-eker law firm in Salt Lake City. Scott and his wife Mary Beth are natives of Utah. They live in Salt Lake County with their seven year old son. The new president and his officers were honored at a dinner Saturday evening even-ing at the SLC Hilton. Commissioner and Mrs. Jennings Phillips were among the prominent guests at the banquet. Former Governor Calvin Rampton attended with his wife Lucy Beth who is the 1978 honorary financial finan-cial development chairman chair-man for the Utah Arthritis Foundation. Guest speaker Stan Rubin reviewed the status of arthritis treatment and research. Mr. Rubin, Arthritis Foundation Western Area Representative, Repre-sentative, said recent developments de-velopments will benefit the 122,000 victims of arthritis in Utah. But, he said, many of those victims vic-tims are not seeking help because they don't know that good treatment is available; or they don't fear the slow, crippling effects of the disease. Assisting Mr. Clark in the fight against arthritis will be the other newly elected officers: O. Harvey King, Jr. - Vice President; Mary Beth Clark - Secretary; and Joanne Knight - Treasurer.
