Show Moab Wildlife Club Plans Park Supper The Moab Sportsmans club, together with conservation organizations or-ganizations in other states, is joining with the National Wildlife Federation in sponsoring spon-soring Wildlife Week 1968, March 17 to 23. The themp "Learn to Live With Nature" stresses the need for conservation conser-vation education. Bud Bordeaux, local chairman chair-man for the Wildlife Week effort, pointed out: "People are sold on the idea of enjoying en-joying nature, and now we must sell them on the idea of learning to appreciate and care for natural resources. Conservation education should be a part of every school program. pro-gram. It can also be a community com-munity program. People both young and old should learn they can help fight water and air pollution, litter and waste." During the week's observance, obser-vance, members of the Moab club will sponsor chili and hamburger supper at- Lions Park at 6:30 Thursday of this week. Price is $1.00 per person, per-son, or a family . ticket for $4.00. The public is invited to don red shirts and join the 'members "for an" ;evenTrtg "of good food and fun. |
