Show Kenneth English In the Race Fbr U.S. Senate Moab resident Kenneth L. English this week announced his intention to seek the Republican Re-publican nomination for United Uni-ted States Senator. Mr. English Eng-lish is a radio dispatcher for the Grand county Sheriff's Department, and was an unsuccessful un-successful aspirant for Congress Con-gress two years ago. In making his announcement, announce-ment, English said: "I give no support to Geo. Wallace's ,'Spoil Party' called American Independent. "I am a Republican and have been since my first vote for Thomas Dewey. "I still stand on the same platform of returning to the Gold Standard, stopping foreign for-eign aid, getting the U.N. out of America and getting the U.S. out of the U.N., which are the real reasons behind America's inflation. "I also advocate the taxation taxa-tion of cooperation foundations founda-tions that claim to be charitable chari-table organizations. "I also advocate that there should be a limit to one man's personal wealth and power." Mr. English is presently working as a radio dispatcher in the Grand county Sherriff's Department. He has in the past been a miner and beer tavern operator. 42 years of age. Mr. English was born in Honolulu. Hawaii. He is a resident of Moab, and single. sin-gle. "The reason I came to Utah six years ago to live, was to look for a place a person could live with no money," Mr. English said. "This is still possible, but. someone somewhere is going to have to start to place America Am-erica back on the Gold Standard Stan-dard our present representation representa-tion will never start, on account ac-count of his tie with Foundation Founda-tion Politicians," he added. |
