Show THOMPSON News Items (By Virginia Gruver) Hugh Campbell was taken to the Allen Memorial hospital hos-pital Tuesday afternoon by his daughter, Mrs. Joe Twit-chell. Twit-chell. He was not at all well. Mr. Chet Brostrom, depot agent for many years at Thompson, passed away at Fruita Hospital Thursday night. He leaves a lot of friends. His hotly was shipped to Lake City, Mhin. for burial. bur-ial. Any donations in any' way are to be given to his church or to the Cancer fund. Jesse Gruver came home Saturday and got his pickup and went back to camp to fix his jeep. He was afoot. Jesse says the roads are bad up there. It rained, snowed and hailed. Mrs. Bessie Davis has been in Moab for a couple of days taking care of some children. Cecil Dull's daughter was in Thompson Sunday. The family used to live here and she was renewing old acquaintances. |
