Seniors of St. Mary's Publish Paper The first Issue of a senior paper pa-per for tha Academy of St Mary-of-the-Wasatch made its appearance appear-ance Friday. The editor Is MisrRuby Rahas, Elko, Nev. A contest was held recently to name the paper. Miss Evelyn Bennett Battle Mountain, Nev.. won the rnnteot with the name Tower Echoes. National Mortar Board Official Visits Mrs. Hamilton J. Stevens of Pasadena, Pas-adena, Cel., national treasurer of Mortar Board, honorary national scholastic fraternity, arrived In Salt Lake City Friday for a two-day two-day conference. A breakfast in her honor was given at Carlson hall by members of the University of Utah chapter. Friday night a dinner will be given at the Edgehlll tea garden, 164 Thirteenth East street, with Mrs. ' Robert B. Sims, president of the alumnae association, in charge. Active members will discuss "The History and Traditions of Mortar Board." Students of St. Mary's Plan Chest Luncheon Students of the College and Academy of St Mary-of-the-Wa-satch will sponsor a luncheon to raise their quota for the Community Com-munity Chest of Salt Lake City. The luncheon will be held Tuesday In the academic and college refectories. re-fectories.
