Show BIRD FUNERAL I SERVICES SET Funeral service! for Edward Harry Bird. 58. of 130 North Weit Tempi street, former Milford mayor and former L. D. S. bishop of Milford, will be conducted Sunday Sun-day at 3 p. m. in the Gunnison L. D. S. ward chapel. Mr. Bird died Thursday In Salt Lake City hospital of pulmonary pul-monary embolism. A nstlve of NephL he was born April 21, 1883, a son of Edward Harry and Martha Jane Reid Bird. He spent most of his life In Mllford, Mll-ford, served as mayor from 1930 until 1928 and was bishop of the Milford L. D. S. ward for many years. He moved to Salt Lake City two years ago. Ha is survived by his widow, Mrs. Edna Bird of Salt Lake City; three sons, LaVon Bird of Pioche, Nev.; Rulon E. Bird of Ogden. and Donald Don-ald Bird of Salt Lake City, and five daughters, Mrs. Verna Tomsik, Mrs. Elma Hardy and Mrs. Lou-ella Lou-ella Fisher of Milford; Mrs. Helen Anderson of Beaver, and Mrs. Mel-vin Mel-vin M. Miller of Salt Lake City. Interment will be in the Gunnison cemetery. |
