Friday in The Tribune-Telegram auditorium, 143 South ; Main street. Captain Henry C. Hollenbeck of Western Air Express, who has flown more than 1,000,000 miles, will answer questions pertaining to aviation. An added attraction at the meeting meet-ing will be the demonstration of model gasoline-powered automobiles automo-biles by Slack W. Winburn Jr. The tiny machines are powered with one-fifth horsepower motors and are capable of traveling 60 miles an hour. Two members of the Garfield school club who had a preview of the automobiles were Calvin Riggs, 11, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. RigKS of 1287 East Seventeenth Seven-teenth South street, club adjutant, and Wesley Wootton, 13, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Tracey Wootton of 1420 Bryan avenue, squadron leader. Registration for the club's rubber-powered airplane endurance flight contest November 26 on the University of Utah polo field will be opened following the meeting. |
