Show Just a Little Cooperation Needed to Insure Success vide a maximum of sports thrills for track and field fans, besides boosting track back into its rightful right-ful pise beside football and basketball bas-ketball as a major sport. To condemn the proposal on the grounds that it won't draw spectators specta-tors even before it is given a chance Is unfair, because a program carried car-ried out half-heartedly can only expect half-hearted support from the public. So far track has been carried out only half-heartedly. With a little cooperation on the part of the university and the state high school coaches, a competitive com-petitive event could be built up at the university which would entail a minimum of expense and pro- |
