Show f Sixth Paralysis Patient Gets Treatment With a new sufferer from Infantile In-fantile paralysis in the Salt Lake general hospital Wednesday, the total number of victims of the disease in the hospital was brought to six, aU reported by hospital attendants at-tendants to be recovering. Newest victim Is Comer Brown. 8, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Brown of Mercur. He was reported report-ed in fairly good condition and did not require treatment in an "Iron lung." Two others reported In fairly good condition are Eugene Melcher, 10. son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry J. Melcher, who live five miles west of Salt Lake City, and Donald Birch, C, son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Birch of Duchesne. Eugene had recovered to the point where it was possible to remove him from an "iron lung." The Birch boy has not required the breathing aid. The other three, all reported In fair; condition are receiving aid from respirators. They are Mrs. Lucille Worthen, 28. of SpringvUle; Jimmy H. Burn, IT, of 2117 South 2300 East street, and Nell Hamilton, Hamil-ton, 10, son of Mr. and Mrs, Ira Hamilton Of Tablona. |
