Show GOOD ADVICE Lcland W. Cutler, president presi-dent of the Golden Gate International exposition, exposi-tion, had some advice to offer Utah on a recent visit to Salt Lake City. Declaring the day of the International exposition Is gone, he urgr Utah to keep Its 1947 centennial show strictly western. "Don't try to make it International, he said. He also added "now's the time to begin your preparations." . . . Utah is already follow-Ing follow-Ing that last bit of advice, and It can well fo low the rest of Mr. Cutler's counsel, too. Utah s 1947 centennial Is an anniversary of the west. It would be therefore fitting to make it truly western. west-ern. And if such a strictly western show has the best chance of financial success, so much the better. |
