Show TWO THUGS ROB VISITOR TO S.L. . y Police Friday were seeking two men who slugged and robbed a Garfield resident in the 300 block on West First South street. The victim was Kay Okabe, , who told police two men knocked him unconscious and took .3.25 from him. The thugs stepped from the shadows as he was returning to the city after having missed a train to Garfield about midnight, he said. t Burglars Invsded the apartment of R. W. Marx, 23T Eleventh East street, and took $34 and clothing. Police Friday were holding two" men for investigation. Louis Leon, 46, was arrested while attempting to sell a clock. Robert Herman, 19, was arrested when he was seen peering into automobiles, police said. Lytle Moyer, 1363 Kensington avenue, has his resources tabulated right down to tax tokens. Mr. Moyer reported that some time Thursday night burglars invaded his borne and stole a gold ring and two tax tokens. |
