Show POULTRY SCHOOL CLOSESJN LOGAN LOOAN The sixth annual pul-lorum pul-lorum disease testing and flock selection se-lection school came to a close here Friday at the Utah State Agricultural Agri-cultural college, with 14 persons taking the pullorum disease testersi and flock selector examination. After passing the examination twice a tester need not take It again, and the rest of the 33 registered regis-tered at the school had completed the course. The disease testers are working - In connection with the national plan in this work. Type of work as given tn the school under the excellent supervision super-vision of college advisers should result in much more improvement work by people doing flock selection selec-tion and pullorum testing work," J. Oliver Hansen of Spanish Fork, president of the Hatchers and Breeders' association; associa-tion; W. O. Ramshaw of Salt Lake City, hatcheryman, and Professor Carl Frischknecht of the Utah State Agricultural college. The committee has set October 15 as final date for breeders and hatcherymen in Utah to sign memorandum mem-orandum of agreement for the state this year," Professor Frischknecht Frisch-knecht said. "After this date the registration will not be accepted." Officer Elected Election of officers of the Utah Breeders and Hatchers' association associa-tion was conducted, with P. Oliver Hansen of Spanish Fork being named president; Morgan Dyreing of Manti, vice president; John H. Kemp of North Logan, secretary-treasurer; secretary-treasurer; A. S. Hutching of Sprlngville, Glen Anderson of Mantl and W. H. Wittenberg of Richfield, directors. The school was conducted during Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Three Men Arraigned on Morals-Charges Aubrey Wonnacott, 22, of 126 Malvern avenue; Roy Sperling, 22, of 34 East Southgate avenue, and Jed Casper, aliaa Curtis, 2L of 184 Beryl avenue, Friday were arraigned ar-raigned In Salt Lake City court on charges of committing morals offenses of-fenses against two Sandy girla, one 14 yean old and the other 16. Hearing for the suspects was set for October 10 and each waa remanded re-manded to Jail when unable to post (3500 bail. |
