Show Going to Grid Game? Then Drive Safely ' --.. If you're going to the college football openers Saturday and there will be thousands of you drive safely. Football games come under the1 head of sport but they're not exactly ex-actly fun for authorities whose Job Is to do all they can to prevent any . resultsnt ' traffic accidents. They need the help of every football foot-ball fan who Is driving to a game. Traffic will be heavy, not only on Salt Lake City streets, but on highways outside of the city. Hundreds Hun-dreds of out-of-town football faithfuls will be driving Into Sslt Lake City Saturday afternoon for the Utah-Santa Clara game at the Utah stadium. Allow yourself smple time to get to the Utah stadium, then there will be no need for speeding or dodging in and out of traffic, cutting cut-ting ahead of other cars. The game begins at 2:30 p. m. It won't hurt to leave home or office a good hour ahead of game time. Alumni of the Utah State Agricultural Agri-cultural college will be heading to Logan Saturday for the Utah State-College of Idaho game. Friday night, too, will see grid-Iron grid-Iron fans on the road. Weber college col-lege plays Western States college at Ogden. Drive sensibly. Stay In the proper lane. Take the most direct route possible to the game In Salt Lake City, watch yourself at all times and be sure to give proper signals for turns and stops. Stay within the speed limits (30 miles sn hour on through streets, 2S miles an hour on other residential streets, 20 miles an hour in business busi-ness districts). a Sergeant Harvey C. Entrance will be permitted only via Fourth South street Best routes to and from the stadium, he said, will be on Thirteenth Thir-teenth East East South Temple, East Second South and East Fourth South streets.
