Show Idahoan Second In Cowboy Race LOS ANGELES, Dec. 20 (UP) Everett Bowman of HlllviUe, Aria, . was 1937 world champion cowboy as the American Rodeo association's associa-tion's season closed with a rodeo here in connection with ths Great Western Livestock show. Bowman did not compete, nor did Burl Mulkey of Boise, Idaho, who finished second in national ratings. The points the pair already had won were too great to overcome and the titles were automatically theirs. Bowman had a season's total to-tal of 7021, Mulkey Mrs. Jack Cooper of Alberta. Canada, winner of the saddle brone contest, was third. |
