Lost Dogs Increase in Yule Rush Hounds hate holiday hustle and are easily lout in large crowds. Miss Lillian Taylor, vice president presi-dent of the humane society, warned dog owners Monday. There has been an increase of atray dogs in the downtown district dis-trict since the shopping rush began be-gan and we would like all owners to leave their pets at home when they shop." MUs Taylor said. She related how one faithful German police dog apparently had lost his master at the entrance en-trance of a downtown store and had waited at the door all day after fruitlessly searching the store several times. The dog was picked up by the humane society and taken to a dog hospital for keeping. "Dogs hate crowds and often become frightened. Then they break away and become trampled tram-pled and buffeted in the stores," Miaa Taylor explained.
