Walter Ruben Actress and Director Husband Return to Set After Wedding HOLLYWOOD, Dec. 20 (UP) Virginia Bruce and J. Walter Ruben, Hollywood's latest newlyweds, went back to work on movie sets today. Miss Bruce, widow of the late John Gilbert and Ruben, a director, were married Saturday night They fell in love on a film set two months ago. The ceremony wss In the newly leased home in Beverly Hills, where they were setting up housekeeping today. Four-year-old Susan Ann Gilbert, daughter of Miss Bruce, sat quietly with her grandmother, watching the ceremony that brings her a foster fos-ter father. Gilbert, who died in 1936, two years after Miss Bruce divorced him, left most of his $250,-000 $250,-000 estate to the little girl. The Rev. J. W. Flfield Jr. per formed a Congregational service.
