Money Order Clerks They don't wear whiskers and red coats, but the money order clerks at the Salt Lake City postoffice are proving potent "Santa Claus helpers' this Christmas season. Domestic money orders issued In December last year totaled 18 910, as against 13,709 in November, while the number paid here was 53,813 in December and 50.981 in November. International orders paid here last December averaged $20 each and the domestic ones slightly over $12. Charles A. Hall, money order cashier, admitted Monday the number num-ber of persons who use domestic and International money orders as Christmas gifts is "surprising." "Our international money order business has more than doubled in ths last two weeks, and money orders or-ders havs left here for all sections of the world." Mr. Hall continued.
