STOGKS -LISIBDr : MARKET AGAIN ACTIVE I The stock market showed complete recovery today from the sluggishness of j last Friday and Saturday, and a volume df business amounting to $24,28175 was done. The Interesting feature on the exchange this mornlng.however. was the calling for the first time of the Industrial and bank stock, the list Including most of the largest corporations and banks In Salt Lake, Ogden and Logan.Whlle bids were made on nearly all of them, no sales were recorded. Among the mining stocks Daly-Judge showed the greatest acivity, selling J about KKXT'shares upward from $10.15 to $10.50. Utah hit the decline at -69 cents, and went rapidly to 664 cents, 2300 shares going during the call, most of them below 67 cents. Daly also suffered a relapse, dropping below $5 again. Ingot released 5000 at S cents,' and 1000 at 8?4 cents, buyer sixty days. Wabash went back to its regular figure again today, the 5-cent assessment having been paid Saturday. The old workings of the Bullion-Beck of Eureka from the 200-foot level to the 1C00 level are to be leased, the leases to be limited to six months. The ground has been divided into 100-foot blocks north and south, but extend the entire length of the company's holdings east and west. The hoist, blacksmith shop, etc., will be at the service of the leasers, who will be assessed by the amount extracted. 'At a meeting of those Interested In the Little Giant Mining company 'of Park City held yesterday an effort was made to resurrect ttfat organization. The mine has been neglected for years, and since most of the stock certificates were burned in the Park City fire it Is not known Just who owns the property. THIRTY FEET KOBE SHOULD BEACH CONTACT. A letter received this morning from Superintendent Free of the Park City Gold and Silver Mining company, by Attorney Stewart, says the shaft has been sunk to a depth of 120 feet, the last twenty feet passing through "good looking formations;" The local holders In the property are awaiting developments develop-ments with unusual Interest Just at present, as the contact should be reached inside of thirty or thirty-five feet. Superintendent Free says some Improvements Im-provements have been made above ground at the mine, the principal one being a new wblmhouse. COPPER BELT RAILWAY WILL BE EXTENDED. E. H. Robinson, general 'manager of the Tampa, is back from Denver, where he went to confer with the ffldala of the Denver & Rio Grande relative to the extension- of the Copper Belt railway rail-way at Bingham.
