Show WINS GLOBE TROPHY IN OREGON SHOOT WALLA WALLA, Wash., June 23. In one of the prettiest shooting contests con-tests witnessed in the Northwest, Peter Holohan of Wallace, Ida., won the valuable Globe trophy in the second day's shoot of the Sportsman's Association Asso-ciation of the Northwest. The shoot-off shoot-off was between Holohan and F. A. Dryden of Walla Walla. Holohan and Dryden tied on thirty-nine thirty-nine birds out of forty in the first shoot for the Globe. In the shoot-oft Dryden Dry-den started out with a long lead and looked a sure winner, but fell" down in the two last tens at known angles, losing out by one bird. Holohan killed thirty-five and Dryden thirty-four. |
