D Beers appeared before before belore be be- fore lore the commission to discuss the matter Mr Beers submitted two plans each calling for tor construction of at 20 feet feel of at pavement in the street which measures 81 feet from curb to curb The first plan based on em removal of the he street car tracks and construction construction construe construe- tion of ol a foot 20 strip through the middle of the street would cost about The second plan calling for construction of ten-foot ten strips on both sides of or the street car tracks would cost about The commission was informed by Mr Hart that vcr very likely the Utah Light and Traction company will re remove remove remove re- re move its tracks In this event the viaduct viaduct viaduct via via- duct will not have to be widened Otherwise it was said the viaduct will have to be widened and the car tracks graded to the level of ol f the i paved strips on each side I In any event ent it will be impossible at this time it was said to pave the street to both curb lines and levy Jevy a paving assessment against property owners as customary under city i nances Commissioner Joseph H.
