Show Final Round 0 Play In M Men Loop Opens in Gym Tonight Sixth And Mapleton Tied For Lead; Two Games Set Tonight And Saturday With the second round of M Men play concluded, Kolob teams will swing into action tonight and Saturday in opening third rrw 1 n-T r:t mfH Sixth ward will play Second aH 7 p. m., tonight and First will meet Third at 8 p. m. With Mapleton and Sixth both tied for the stake lead and with the other clubs evenly matched and capable of upsetting either or both leaders, Interest in the final home-stretch drive Is high. M Men games have been much closer and competition keener throughout the season this year than in previous prev-ious years. Last Thursday, Third gave Mapleton Ma-pleton a stiff game before falling short 33-37. The entire Third ward team scored well and played good ball. Mower and B. Jensen, and Diamond played well for the winners. First ward, led by Pierce, Walker Walk-er and Nielsen, turned back Second Sec-ond 30-21 in the other Thursday game. Fox and Anderson led the losers. Saturday night, Sixth fought an uphill battle against Third before winning 39-32. Third, led by Sargent Sar-gent and Johnson, held a 15-11 lead at halftime, but fell before an onslaught of baskets by N. Weight, L. Weight and Harward in the last quarter.
