Show . Personal News Notes Mrs. Cleo H. Davies and baby daughter are visiting indefinitely with Mrs. Fern O. Smith and other oth-er friends and relatives here. Mrs. Mary J. Banks of Spanish Fork, was the house guest of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Crandall over the week-end. Arlene Mendenhall spent the week-end in Springville, coming from Ogden where she is employed. em-ployed. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Anthon have arrived home from Riverside, Cal., where they have visited relatives for a few weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Snow of Long Beach, Calif., are visiting with Mrs. Snow's sister, Mrs. Hen-reitta Hen-reitta Harmer, and other relatives here and in Mapleton. Lt. (j.g.) and Mrs. Wendell Twelves (LaRhea Nielson) left recently re-cently for San Diego, Calif, where Lt. Twelves expects to be stationed sta-tioned for the next few months. Mrs. C. E. Jewett and son Duain spent one day of last week with her mother, Mrs. Jonena Fullmer. Duain is home on furlough having hav-ing been stationed at Iowa City, Iowa. J. C. Nielson, accompanid by his son Oran left recently for San Diego, Calif., to visit a few day with his son, Earl Nielson, who expected to leave with the Navy for overseas duty. Frances D. Burke, project manager man-ager of the Dragerton housing project, also E. M. Reed Jr., audi-"tor, audi-"tor, were visitors over the weekend week-end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Crandall. Marjorie Simkins left Monday evening to spend two months with her sister. Mrs. E. M. Greenwood at Norfolk, Va. Enroute, she planned to spend a few days with her sister, Virginia Simkins, who is stationed with the WAVES in Chicago, 111. Mrs. Glenn Fullmer spent the week-end with Mrs. Jonena Fullmer. Full-mer. She has just returned from a three-weeks' visit in San Diego, Calif., with her husband, and also in Long Beach, Calif., at the home of a sister-in-law, Mrs. L. K. Harper. Har-per. She also visited relatives in Los Angeles. Cpl. Don M. .Clyde, home from the South Pacific after 35 months service, was a week-end guest of Ida Worthen, as were also his sister sis-ter and husband. Dr. and Mrs. William Nebeker of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Lena Eiden of Salt Lake City. - Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Sanford of Paul, Ida., and Mrs. J. B Clyde of Parma, Ida, are visiting here for a few days, the house-guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. O. Thorn. They came especially to see a brother, Frank Sanford, who recently moved from Idaho to Salt Lake City, and who has undergone a major operation at a hospital in that city. He is reported to be recovering. re-covering. Mrs. Joseph L. Pace (Pauline Clyde) left by plane Tuesday to meet her husband, Dr. Joseph L. Pace, who had just docked on an aircraft carrier at Seattle, Wash., after serving a year in tne bouui Pacific. He will be given a 15-day 15-day leave and with Mrs. Pace, plans to visit his parents, Dr. and Mrs. G. L. Pace, at Van Nuys, Calif., and then come to Springville Spring-ville to see their two sons, the youngest of which was born after Dr. Pace, left for overseas duty. |
