Show Tire Company Members Are Given Awards In appreciation of services rendered ren-dered during World War II, Chief of the Bureau of Aeronautics has issued naval aviation technician cards and certificates to 5 members mem-bers of the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Rub-ber Company's aviation department, depart-ment, who were active in assisting assist-ing naval aviation personnel in maintenance and repair of Goodyear Good-year products utilized by the navy department. Those receiving recognition were: John E. Leonard, James Gardner, R. H. Vogel, Clair T. Zimmerman and Carl B. Householder, House-holder, all of whom were field service representatives. , Leonard and Gardner were stationed on the Pacific Coast, the others operated oper-ated out of the Akron office. Zimmerman is only member of the quintet still in field service work. On postwar jobs, Leonard is handling light airplane accounts Vogel is acting service manager and Gardner is in service section. Householder is airlines contact man. |
