Show Portable Mill Is Predicted A portable mill that converts wheat into flour right in the field may be the answer to the supply problems of small or isolated wheat producing areas, both here and abroad. Its manufacturers report that the mill, mounted on a trailer, is so compact that it can be towed from field to field by a jeep, truck or small tractor. Two men can operate it easily, and it will grind 1,000 pounds of grain an hour, yielding 98 per cent of finished whole wheat flour. The two per cent residue can be used for livestock feed. |
