So runs the old melody, and the truth of its lines was evidenced Monday at the marriage of William A. Dunlap of Salt Lake and New York and Mrs. I,ulu Dunlap of Xew- York, when hearts that were once united by the marriage vows and then severed were united atrain. Both swear that an undying love was back of it all, that it was just a second cvcli in a love match that w.-i mane to last from the very beginning, despite the int.ral of doubt, perhaps, and misapprehension. Mr. Dunlap is the son of tlie noted natter. Robert Dunlap, of Xew York, and was married to .Mrs. Dunlap severai years ago. Fate decreed a separation, and a divorce was obtained. Then, ru- mor has it, Mr. Jiunlap became a benedick ben-edick a second time, on this occasion being married to a Chicatro manicurist. But apparently the old love was tugging tug-ging at his heartstrings. and divorce ended a hasty romance. An understa tiding tid-ing was arranged .vith the first .Mrs. Dunlap. It was agreed that bygones wouid be bygones, that all differences and feelings feel-ings wouid be hidden in smiles and affability, af-fability, and a few dnys ago tho couple came west to be remarried. The ceremony was held at high noon Monday at St. Paul's church, the llev. J. H. .Dennis officiating. The affair was private, John C. Jandreau. forricr li-u-tenant with the Math (Utah) field artillery, artil-lery, and connected with Mr. Dunlap In mining interests In Texas, acting as best man. The couple will remain in Salt Lake until September, when thev will go east. Mrs. Dilllan M. Notinan of New York, a sister of tlie bride, accompanied accom-panied her from the oast for the wedding.
