The Eureka-Croesus Mining company has ordered the necessary lumber and materials to erect houses at the mines to accommodate a large number of men. Construction will begin as soon as the materials arrive. When finished the company com-pany will work two, probably three shifts. Until then additional men cannot be employed em-ployed for the reason that facilities for properly taking care of them are at present pres-ent inadequate.
